Radio Free Brooklyn Presents: The Dr. Lisa Gives a Shit SHOWCASE!
Hosted by Dr. Lisa and Young Person’s Radio’s Colby Smith

Two of Radio Free Brooklyn’s best talk show hosts are joining forces to bring you some of their best radio guests LIVE!

In her trademark fashion, Dr. Lisa will perform therapy sessions with the performers live on stage, and true to his show, Colby will try and get them all to help him feel like less of a dork.

The evening will span music, comedy, and visual art, all brought to you by Radio Free Brooklyn.

Lisa Levy is a multi-media conceptual artist, comedic performer, and (self-proclaimed) psychotherapist.She performs as Dr. Lisa, S.P. (self-proclaimed) who psychoanalyzes people in her own inimitable way, on screen, stage and on the street. She’s had celebrity guest “patients” such as Joe Gordon-Levitt and Amy Schumer. On her weekly Radio Free Brooklyn show called “Dr. Lisa Gives a Sh*t” where she conducts funny, emotionally revealing “psychotherapy sessions” with creative guests. Dr. Lisa has performed at The Brooklyn Museum, BAM, Joe’s Pub, The Woolly Mammoth Theater and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Colby Smith is a Brooklyn-based comedian and the host of the comedy call-in show Young Person’s Radio on Radio Free Brooklyn. He also co-hosts (with Matt Strickland) the monthly stand-up show New Bits and can be seen performing stand-up and sketch all around the city. He has appeared in the Montreal Sketch Festival, the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, and the Albany Improv Festival, as well as in videos for Funny or Die and IFC’s Comedy Crib.

Radio Free Brooklyn is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to give a global voice to local artists, residents, community organizers and other non-profit institutions by providing a commercial-free freeform Internet Radio platform. As a non-commercial community freeform Internet radio station, we stream original content by the artists and residents of NYC’s most populous borough 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
